A day in the life of Nicole, Office Manager
Office Manager Nicole gives us an insight in to her day.
My typical morning stars off with trying to get 3 children up, ready and fed before the school and nursery run! Once I arrive at the office I first check my emails, I deal with those accordingly then start my daily tasks. This can change depending on what needs doing that week.
So this week as we have a new starter joining the team shortly, all of the new IT equipment needed ordering and setting up, desk assembling – I’ve become an expert in flat pack furniture making! – paperwork completing and just the general making sure everything is ready for their starting date.
I have dealt with holiday requests making sure that there won’t be too many overlaps. We have had updated compliance documents which needed uploading to or share folders so everyone can make themselves aware of the changes.
I have also had to draw plans up for our anticipated office expansion, and submit them for approval.
I also deal with the firms credit control insuring all invoices are paid in a timely manner.
